Abortion Poem

Although it's been a year or so,
Both of my parents still think of me.
On the basis of convenience, I was
Raped of life by cold steel forceps.
This 'tissue', their son, struggled for his last breath.
In saline waters,
On the burning waves of death,
No one understood why I still wanted my mommy.

Thank you for sharing this. I am so grateful that you posted it because it disappeared from my geocities site. This poem is over 15 years old. It has been an eye opener for so many who had accepted the lie that a baby is not a baby until it is born. Thanks again
