They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If I'm the beholder and I can't find the beauty,
what then?
When the view is warped by drugs and alcohol,
only then can I love myself.

They say I'm beautiful,
that I have a pretty face,
that they would give anything to be just like you...
why?
I'd give anything just to be
someone else.

The mirror is my worst enemy.
Everything is disproportionate and warped.
I have no self-esteem
and compliments only make me feel pretty
for so long.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I hear that I'm pretty,
but I've never believed it...
I guess my eyes must be broken.
