The bell rings and the hallways fill
talking all around me
to everyone but me
Friends I have not
no one sees me
except for the whispers
and taunts to my face

Why must I be different?
I feel so alone
as I edge my way to the restroom
I seek sanctity in a stall
crying softly, silently
yet no tears fall

Why must I be different?
Please love me too
What did I do?
