We're off to search for a pumpkin...

the pumpkin of my dreams.
It might be plump and rounded...
or tall and thin as can be.

It might have nooks and crannies...
or smooth and soft orange skin.
I don't know what it looks like...
but I will know it like a friend.

I will take it home and carve it...
and light it up all bright.
And let it sit on my doorstep..
to give the night some light.
