The End of Hope The End of Love

The heavens were mad at our evil
they looked down on us, small and feeble
all who looked saw they anger and hate
slowly together they decided our fate

The end of hope, the end of love
this came to us from up above
the end of dreams the end of life
no more is the love of husband and wife

The people of Earth killed themselves and each other
if only they live brother and brother
too many if only's fly around
but only to this fate are we bound

The end of hope the end of love
this came to us from up above
the end of song the end of dance
no more nights of lve and romance

"The world is at war!" they called
"Ever man for himself!" they snarled
the heavens knew what was to come
on Earth it was clear only to some

The end of hope the end of love
this came to us from up above
the end of mercy the end of grace
the begining of disaster for the human race

All of man was driven by hate
all of man had the same fate
fire and bombs blood and bodies
billions of people not one at ease

The end of hope the end of love
this came to us from up above
the end of a planet the end of a star
the work of drunk men sitting in a bar

At the end there was on who killed all the rest
he look at his work and thought he was best
then he saw loved ones lying there dead
a tear, a gun, and a bullet in his head

The end of anger the end of hate
this came to us all to late
the end of a man the end of a race
no more humans walked on earth face
