Nature Poems

Beneath her coat of brown and gold,
A secret wonder does unfold,
Her miracle of life begins,
With gentle rain and raging winds.
She slumbers 'neath her coat of white,
Replenishing her gift of life,
And in the warmth of spring behold!
New life, her gift to us untold.
Forgiveness is within her breast,
When scarred and plundered she does rest,
And waits, for man to end his theft,
She slowly mends the gaping cleft.
The seasons come, the seasons go,
And tiny shoots spring forth to grow,
She nurtures gently, saplings small,
Till mighty trees, are standing tall.
