I'll be your Sympathy

 Lawrence Cabble

I'll be your Sympathy,
I'll try to taste your pain.
I'll even understand your misery,
When it's gone away,
I'll never be a luxury,
But I'll comfort you the same,
I'll reassure you with tight held silence,
When I don't know what to say,
I'll be your company,
I'll be there on the phone,
You can call me every other day,
And all the others too,
If there's anything that I can do,
Just give me a call,
And anything I cannot change,
I won't let happen again
