My suffering is as deep as I tell you it is

And then more

My suffering is as deep as you think it is

And then more

My suffering is as deep as you cannot believe it could be

And then more

You look and me and think

I could handle that if I were her

Not only could I handle that

but I would never let it eat me up for so long

You judge me

you think you know what I have been through

You think you have been through worse

Well let me tell you

I am a superwoman

I have faced, eye to eye

The most evil, fierce and unrelenting enemy that exists

An enemy so strong that it has stolen me from me

And now has “me”… on its’ side.

An enemy so clever that it can sit back and watch as I do all it’s dirty work

Telling myself that I am

“not worth it”

“not good enough”

“beyond repair”

“a waste of life”

“disgusting”

“lazy”

“ugly”

“broken”

and that it will never ever…get better.
