Three lovely acrostic poems about thanksgiving
T is for THANKFULNESS, to Jesus,
which we should all be.
H is for the HOLINESS of Jesus we
should all revere'
A is for the ABUNDANCE of love
given freely to us from our Lord..
N is for the NURTURING, Jesus
showers us with..
K is for our KING who shed His blood
for you and for me.
S is for our SAVIOUR so full of
love and mercy.
G is for the GENEROSITY of our
loving Heavenly Father, in His gift
of salvation so freely given.
I is for our INIQUITIES that Jesus
saved us from on the cross that day.
V is for the VICTORY we have in
defeating satan.
I is for the INJUSTICE of Jesus'
suffering for us, so all could abide
with Him in His Heavenly realm.
N is for our NEEDS, that Jesus never
fails to fulfill.
G is for the GRACE of God that is
supplied to us, no matter how
undeserving we are.

An Acrostic Thanksgiving
by Mabel Livingston Frank
T is for Turkeys, so great and renowned;
H for the Hearth, that we gather around.
A for Apples, so rosy and sweet;
N for the Nuts that are always a treat;
K for the Kindling we burn in the grate;
S for the Stories our elders relate.
G for the Games, when the feasting is o'er;
I for the Icicles outside the door;
V for the Vigilant Fathers of old,
I for Ideals, they taught us to hold,
N for the Needy we meet here and there;
G for the Gifts and "Goodies" we share.
